Company Overview:
A leading university endowment management firm with a portfolio totaling $27.4 billion is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support its Operations team. This role will primarily assist the CFO and department heads in coordinating various initiatives and communications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Independently adjust and coordinate priorities and initiatives in support of the CFO and Operations initiatives.
  • Represent the Operations team to internal and external constituencies, handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Manage and communicate project deadlines, requiring independence and flexibility.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and manage complex calendars.
  • Respond to inquiries requiring an understanding of the work area and policies.
  • Compose, draft, edit, and format documents and presentations.
  • Implement and support quarterly budget monitoring and provide financial support.
  • Support efficient document management and ensure proper storage and retrieval.
  • Develop annual departmental budget proposals and oversee general operating accounts.
  • Arrange travel and prepare detailed itineraries.
  • Process expense reimbursements using the Concur reporting system.
  • Provide general back-up support to peer Administrative Assistants and office services.
  • Support challenging projects on an ad-hoc basis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school education or equivalent with experience accepted.
  • Minimum of five years of administrative or related experience required.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to take initiative and resolve complex problems with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work from Cambridge, MA, offices at least two days per week.

Compensation:
Salary: $80,000 – $92,000
