Company Overview:
A leading financial services company with a century-long history, specializing in lending solutions, is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to enhance their Cards domain systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end architectural design for complex systems across the Cards domain, ensuring scalability, security, and resilience.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for full-stack Cards applications, guiding teams on domain concepts and best practices.
• Perform complex hands-on engineering work using technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and data pipelines.
• Lead technical design and solutioning sessions, facilitating collaboration across engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Elevate code quality and engineering excellence through strong testing practices, automation, and code reviews.
• Design and implement automation strategies, including test automation, CI/CD improvements, and observability enhancements.

Qualifications:

• At least 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering backend applications with GraphQL, Node.JS, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, RESTful APIs, and data pipelines.
• Proficiency with Domain Driven Design and Data Modeling.
• Experience managing and maintaining distributed systems.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms and patterns, preferably AWS.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $90 – $100/hr
