Company Overview:
An investment management firm with approximately $17 billion in assets under management is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Performance Reporting and Analytics Team. This role will focus on financial information, investment strategy attribution, and performance measurement-related data.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deep understanding of best practices around structuring dimensions and fact tables, adhering to a star schema model.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, Alteryx, and other development languages for curating strategic data sets and views for investment dashboard creation.
  • Lead efforts around data governance and monitor ACU usage.
  • Technical lead on data quality control process design, execution, documentation, and monitoring.
  • Assist in tech stack architecture for optimal data flow, data quality control, and optimization within cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Initialize data processes involving strategy tagging, security master metadata, and position level attributes.
  • Leverage cloud-based database management solutions such as Snowflake and Sigma.
  • Calculate critical analysis such as Performance Attribution, Return Forecasting, Liquidity Analysis, and Hedging Efficacy.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly materials for the C-suite review of Fund performance.
  • Assist in the creation of investment and operational dashboards.
  • Act as subject matter expert in calculation methodology for accuracy and consistency in reporting.
  • Assist in analytics related to investor-level data and marketing efforts.
  • Leverage technology platforms, including Power BI, Sigma, and Arcesium for reporting platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, mathematics, accounting, economics, or equivalent.
  • 2-10 years of experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; VBA/Macro/SQL/Alteryx experience a plus.
  • Understanding of quantitative metrics in private equity and hedge funds.
  • Strong knowledge of various investment products, financing/leverage, and complex fund structures.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $100/hr
