Company Overview:
A global investment firm with a focus on both public and private markets is seeking an Operations Associate to join their team. The role involves learning all aspects of operations and supporting accounting functions while collaborating with various departments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the Director of Operations, Fund Controller, and Assistant Controller
• Collaborate with tax, investor relations, and legal teams
• Work closely with the fund administrator, auditors, and prime brokers
• Create efficiencies and controls in workflows
• Perform internal daily, monthly, or ad hoc reports
• Daily cash and position reconciliations between Enfusion and PBs/Counterparties
• Daily performance estimates and end-of-day reporting
• Collateral management and margin reporting across all counterparties
• Input/maintenance of internal accounting system (Enfusion)
• Security master maintenance and tagging
• Review daily trade blotter in OMS for proper booking and allocations
• Proxy voting and processing corporate actions
• Utilize Lightkeeper to produce risk reports
• Coordinate with fund administrator on monthly close process
• Trial balance reconciliations and review of fund accruals
• Review of capital statements and understanding of public and private investments
• Exposure to annual audited financial statements process
• Coordinate private investments valuation process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field with strong academic performance
• 2-3 years of experience in Finance in an operations or accounting role
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Enfusion or other operations/accounting systems is a plus
• Experience with a Fund Administrator and/or Prime Broker is a plus
• Experience with Lightkeeper or a data warehouse is a plus
• Experience with private investments is a plus

Compensation:
Salary: $110,000 – $135,000, Plus Bonus
