Company Overview:
A newly established multi-strategy hedge fund with $3.5 billion in initial capital is seeking a Corporate Accountant to support its corporate accounting function. This role offers direct exposure to senior finance leadership and investment teams, providing a unique opportunity for hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and approve employee expense submissions in Ramp, ensuring correct coding and allocation across investment teams/pods
• Administer the corporate card program, including cardholder support, coding, and reconciliation
• Process accounts payable, including invoice coding, approvals, and payment runs, with close attention to proper allocation under the pass-through cost model
• Support the pass-through expense allocation process, working cross-functionally to ensure costs are correctly attributed before they flow into investor billing
• Support month-end close activities for the management company, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules
• Partner with the broader finance team on process improvements as the function continues to scale
• Support ad hoc reporting requests from senior finance leadership and internal stakeholders

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of accounting experience; hedge fund, private equity, or other alternative asset manager experience strongly preferred
• Experience at a multi-manager or pass-through platform is a significant plus
• Direct experience with Ramp is highly valued
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus, not required
• Strong Excel skills

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $45 – $65/hr
