Company Overview:
A leading global alternative investment manager offers clients complementary primary and secondary investment solutions across credit, private equity, real estate, and infrastructure asset classes. They are seeking a Senior Associate to join the Investment Operations team, focusing on private debt asset onboarding and data quality.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret credit agreements, note purchase agreements, and related legal documentation for operational setup.
  • Set up new private debt investments within internal systems and downstream platforms.
  • Capture and maintain key economic and reference terms for private debt instruments.
  • Collaborate with Compliance to review structure charts and maintain legal entity information.
  • Leverage DealCloud and AlphaStream for investment onboarding and data maintenance.
  • Coordinate with investment professionals and external counterparties to resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform quality control reviews of newly onboarded assets and document-driven changes.
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures, data standards, and control checklists.
  • Work with technology and data teams to improve onboarding workflows and integrations.
  • Support reconciliation and remediation efforts across systems.
  • Participate in project management and data governance workstreams.
  • Produce management reporting and metrics related to private debt assets.
  • Help train junior team members and offshore resources on document interpretation and setup standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in investment operations or asset data management.
  • Direct experience with private debt, bank loans, or note investments.
  • Hands-on experience with DealCloud, AlphaStream, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of private debt instrument structures and data attributes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis and reconciliations.

Compensation:
Salary: $130,000 – $160,000, Plus Bonus
