Company Overview:
A leading medical device company is seeking a Contract Payroll Specialist to support U.S. payroll operations during the implementation of a new HRMS and payroll system.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee changes in ADP Workforce Now, including new hires, terminations, and employee banking information updates.
  • Review and validate payroll inputs, including overtime and other variable compensation.
  • Run payroll reports and audit data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Process and validate monthly commission inputs.
  • Manage timekeeping inputs, including PTO, holidays, and other applicable paid time off.
  • Perform payroll calculations, analysis, and reconciliations to ensure payroll is accurate.
  • Review final payroll reports and registers, identifying and resolving discrepancies prior to payroll processing.
  • Partner closely with the Payroll Specialist to coordinate responsibilities and provide a second level of review and quality control.
  • Collaborate with the Payroll Manager and broader payroll team to ensure accurate and timely U.S. payroll processing.
  • Support additional payroll-related projects and activities as needed during the HRMS implementation.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on U.S. payroll experience.
  • Experience processing payroll in a corporate environment.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, timekeeping, payroll inputs, and reconciliations.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $28 – $38/hr
