An alternative investment manager is hiring an Finance Associate or Senior Associate to join their private debt team. This role sits on a small team and will offer exposure to all aspects of accounting and operations for their funds. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• All accounting, reporting and compliance of certain funds
• Responsible for coaching and developing junior team members
• Calculate fund level returns and communicate performance for investor requests 
• Administration of certain funds: prepare/review, coordinate, calculate capital calls and distributions
• Daily cash management, monitoring, and reconciliation with the bank
• Take a lead role with the firm’s outside auditor in preparation/review of year-end audited financials

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Degree in accounting
• 3+ years of related experience including experience with financial reporting, 4+ years’ experience to be considered for the Senior Associate level
• CPA and prior experience with public accounting firm focused on financial services clients is a plus
