A manufacturing company with a 40+ year history, based in Southern NH, is seeking a Controller/VP of Finance to lead the company’s finance function as it enters into it’s next stage of growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded and accounted for properly. 
• The Controller / VP Finance will help oversee the company’s banking relationship(s).  Able to improve cash flow forecasting, and contribute meaningfully to the company’s broader FP&A activities including the budget and quarterly forecasting process and benchmarking company operations and financials vis-à-vis peers. 
• The Controller will oversee the company’s accountants and bookkeepers.  
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget.  Provide reporting to CEO, executives, Board of Directors and investors, and other staff.
• Strengthen accounting and reporting systems to provide timely, accurate information and metrics in support of management decisions

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8+ years of hands on Accounting/Finance experience, ideally from a Manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of budgeting and forecasting
• Team player with high energy
• Ability to be in the office 2-3x a week
• Great Plains experience a plus
