Company Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Paralegal to join their team in a hybrid role that bridges compliance and regulatory functions. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with the General Counsel and senior leadership while supporting multiple critical business functions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage the conflicts database related to acquiring new clients, new cases, and potential conflicts during attorney/partner hiring processes.
  • Collaborate with the General Counsel on maintaining Continuing Legal Education (CLE) databases and Professional Liability Insurance (PLI) registrations for attorneys across 15 states; ensure attorney renewals are monitored.
  • Handle ad hoc assignments related to ethical issues and professional liability, working closely with outside counsel as needed.
  • Serve as a key liaison with the firm’s senior leadership team and support the business team.
  • Assist with corporate legal work including corporate redlining and tracking deal flow involving acquiring partner groups or law firm practices, particularly in M&A transactional matters.
  • Work effectively with team members balancing casework and GC-related duties, providing support where needed.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with agility and high energy.

Qualifications:

  • Strong corporate paralegal background with relevant experience supporting transactional and regulatory legal functions.
  • Exposure to M&A work, preferably including large transactions.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive compliance and ethics issues.
