Company Overview:
A leading credit-focused investment management firm with over $20 billion in assets under management is seeking to expand its Private Credit business. The firm is headquartered in New York City and is looking to hire a Finance/Accounting Associate to join their dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the administrator on all aspects of the monthly close process and review/preparation of 10Q/10K
• Work with internal control auditors to develop internal controls, process narratives, and quarterly internal control testing ensuring SOX 404 compliance
• Work with the investment team on updating, tracking, and analyzing various portfolio company attributes, covenants, and financial statistics
• Update investment closing checklist for all investment fundings
• Track daily liquidity and make recommendations on funding sources for new investments
• Coordinate with third-party valuation specialists and the investment team on quarterly portfolio valuations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance; other majors considered based on profile and experience
• Familiarity with credit instruments and ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment
• Outstanding Excel skills

Compensation:
Salary: $100,000 – $130,000, Plus Bonus
