Company Overview:
A leading global investment firm with nearly $300 billion in assets under management is seeking an AML Consultant to join its team. The role focuses on providing expertise in Credit Due Diligence and KYC processes for credit transactions and secondaries.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide AML and KYC advisory expertise specific to credit transactions, with a focus on credit deals and secondaries.
• Conduct thorough credit due diligence, ensuring compliance with AML standards and regulations.
• Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to AML within credit transactions.
• Collaborate with the global team to ensure best practices for AML compliance across multiple regions.
• Support the development and implementation of strategies to improve KYC procedures and compliance in credit-related transactions.
• Be the subject-matter expert on transaction-based AML requirements, particularly in the credit and secondaries space.
• Help manage and oversee AML risks and ensure all regulatory requirements are met for credit transactions.

Qualifications:

• 3-7 years of relevant experience in AML, KYC, and credit transaction due diligence.
• Proven expertise in the credit space, including secondaries and related credit deals.
• Strong knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and compliance within the credit transaction environment.
• Experience working with global teams across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ability to independently handle complex AML and due diligence tasks and provide expert guidance.
• Knowledge of AML and compliance trends in the financial services sector.
• Familiarity with “plug-and-play” frameworks for AML/KYC implementation in transaction environments.
• Experience with credit due diligence in the context of investment management, private equity, or hedge funds.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $60 – $80/hr, DOE
