Company Overview:
A leading global investment firm with nearly $300 billion in assets under management is seeking an Assistant Vice President for their Real Estate Debt Strategies Operations team. This role involves executing new investment and capital markets transactions and overseeing daily portfolio activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with operations of $77 billion in AUM and related transactions, private fund structures, and insurance vehicles.
  • Partner with investment professionals and finance teams in New York and London to execute new investment transactions and financing strategies.
  • Support ongoing project initiatives to scale finance infrastructure and facilitate business growth.
  • Coach and oversee aspects of the offshore operations team and dedicated portfolio company servicing and onboarding team.
  • Coordinate investment funding activities with asset management, including treasury, debt financing, and foreign currency considerations.
  • Liaise with asset managers and servicing teams to validate monthly interest income calculations, funding/paydown activities, and waterfall cash remittances.
  • Review monthly and quarterly investment portfolio analytics for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline (CFA and/or CPA is a plus).
  • 6-10 years of experience in public accounting, transaction services, private equity funds, consulting, or relevant real estate debt roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is required.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $75 – $90/hr, DOE
