Company Overview:
A global alternative investment firm with approximately $185 billion in assets under management is seeking to hire an Operations Associate for its Public Equity division. The role focuses on providing operational support across various investment strategies and asset classes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support to investor relations, finance, trading, and fund management teams.
• Perform investment operations, focusing on reconciliation, asset setup, and trade settlement functions.
• Conduct daily reconciliation of cash and assets with custodians, brokers, and fund administrators.
• Manage end-to-end trade lifecycle operations, ensuring accurate and timely settlement.
• Review daily reporting and controls to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
• Handle asset setup and the Security Master File process, and monitor Corporate Actions.
• Build and enhance relationships with internal clients and external partners.
• Collaborate with other operational departments to share product knowledge.
• Continuously analyze and improve the working practices of the Public Equity Operations team.

Qualifications:

• BS or BA in accounting, finance, or economics with a 3.25 GPA or higher.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience; Trade Settlements or Capital Markets Operations experience preferred.
• Experience in Advent Geneva or other investment accounting applications preferred.
• Experience with Equity Derivative products (swaps) preferred.
• Experience with Bloomberg and other trading and settlement software platforms preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel.

Compensation:
Salary: $70,000 – $78,000, Plus Bonus
