Company Overview:
A leading global financial institution with approximately $2 trillion in assets is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Assistant Vice President to join its Finance team. The role involves preparing and reviewing regulatory reports for the US operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare or review daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc regulatory reports, including Federal Reserve, Department of Treasury, and Department of Commerce reports.
  • Reconcile reporting data to the general ledger, validate static data, and perform variance analysis.
  • Support the governance function of regulatory reports, including development of trainings and coordination of committees and forums.
  • Monitor changes in reporting instructions and accounting standards and incorporate them into submitted reports.
  • Maintain and update procedure documentation related to regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across the organization and support management and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial reporting, regulatory reporting, or related field in the banking industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with regulatory reporting tools such as Axiom preferred.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Alteryx or Power BI preferred.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory reporting or financial reporting (US GAAP) and financial products.

Compensation:
Salary: $120,000 – $140,000, Plus Bonus
