Company Overview:
A boutique financial services firm specializing in fund management is seeking a Part-Time Fund Accountant to support client operations. This role offers flexibility and reduced hours, ideal for professionals with strong fund accounting experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate fund and investor-level accounting records
• Prepare and review partnership allocations and capital account statements
• Track and manage fund expenses, cash flows, and accruals
• Assist with quarterly and annual filings including audits and tax deliverables
• Liaise with fund administrators and custodians; resolve trade breaks
• Participate in NAV reviews and reconciliations
• Support ad hoc reporting, compliance items, and operational needs

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in fund accounting or controller roles, preferably within hedge funds, private equity, or fund administration
• Strong grasp of partnership accounting, investor allocations, and fund structures
• Experience working with fund administrators and resolving operational issues
• Familiarity with NAV processes, fund audits, and reconciliations
• Exposure to platforms like EZ, Advent, Investran, or similar (a plus)
• CPA/CFA or equivalent background is a plus

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $60 – $70/hr, DOE
