Company Overview:
A New York-based investment management firm with approximately $2 billion in assets under management specializes in absolute return strategies. They are seeking a candidate to join their operations team to enhance workflow processes and support trade management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Book trades in the firm's Operations Management System
• Clear trade breaks and fails with prime brokers and other custodians
• Manage bank debt settlement processes and workflows
• Book and reconcile transactions and cash balances in the firm's accounting system
• Find and solve inefficiencies in current operations workflow processes
• Interact with the operations and investment teams, including analysts and traders
• Work on various ad-hoc projects

Qualifications:

• BA in finance or accounting
• Full-time availability
• Very strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
• Experience coding in Python, VBA, or other computer languages is a plus

Compensation:
Salary: $110,000 – $130,000, Plus Bonus
