Company Overview:
A private investment partnership managing approximately $2 billion in assets, specializing in fundamental, contrarian, long-term value investing globally. The firm is seeking a Director of Finance and Operations to oversee accounting, operations, compliance, and investor relations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting of investment vehicles and review net-asset-value and fee calculations
• Monitor valuation of securities portfolios and resolve pricing discrepancies
• Oversee annual audits and manage relationships with service providers
• Supervise team members responsible for trading and middle-office functions
• Oversee cash movements and work on process enhancements
• Maintain books and records of the firm and its investment vehicles
• Prepare periodic regulatory filings and review investment-vehicle documents
• Monitor adherence to investment-management agreements and side letters
• Prepare investor reports and respond to ad hoc investor requests
• Review and process investor capital activities

Qualifications:

• Finance, accounting, or related business degree or equivalent work experience, preferably with a CPA qualification
• 7-12 years of experience with hedge fund accounting and operations
• Experience with international equity and derivatives trading operations
• Experience working with team members in multiple locations and time zones
• Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and Bloomberg

Compensation:
Salary: $150,000 – $200,000, Plus Bonus
