Company Overview:
A multi-family office and wealth management firm with over $7.5 billion in assets under management is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Finance Team. The role involves managing corporate accounting functions and providing family office accounting services for ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounts receivable and accounts payable life cycles
  • Develop and maintain account reconciliations
  • Prepare various account reconciliations during the Monthly/Quarterly/YTD closing process
  • Research and analyze income statement accounts
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
  • Maintain firm's fixed asset register and associated depreciation schedules
  • Maintain intercompany and related party account schedules
  • Oversee daily treasury operations
  • Manage and maintain all expenses through the firm's expense management software
  • Review outside fund administrator’s work for accuracy in financial reporting
  • Prepare financial statements and variance analysis
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting
  • Handle accounts payable and bill pay for family entities
  • Develop and maintain firm policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the assistant controller on firm KPI’s and financial analysis
  • Assist with year-end financial audits for real estate and venture capital funds
  • Support preparation of budgeting and forecasting reports
  • Assist with various ad-hoc projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting required
  • 2-4 years of accounting experience, with a combination of public and industry experience preferred
  • Experience in a professional services firm, financial services a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred
  • Knowledge of payroll and expense processing software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, iSolved, Certify, Expensify)
  • Tax experience, with exposure to partnership tax accounting a plus
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook

Compensation:
Salary: $100,000 – $110,000, Plus Bonus
