Company Overview:
A global investment manager with approximately $68 billion in assets under management is seeking a Business Development Relationship Associate to support their North America Business Development Team. The firm is known for its valuation-based investing and commitment to delivering superior long-term investment performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Increase the number of high-quality prospect touch points through meetings, calls, and events
  • Maintain and expand prospect lists using CRM and databases
  • Assist with personalized and semi-customized email communications
  • Own meeting logistics, including calendar invitations, prep notes, and presentation materials
  • Conduct research on prospects and competitors to enhance meeting quality
  • Organize and assist in GMO-specific investor and marketing events in North America
  • Document and maintain meeting notes and follow-ups
  • Collaborate with various internal groups to ensure high satisfaction for prospects
  • Develop an understanding of GMO’s investment strategies, philosophy, and process

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in the investment management business
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft applications
  • Strong ability to create, operate, maintain, and organize databases
  • Demonstrated understanding of investment strategies and markets, including fixed income, equity, and alternatives
  • Previous experience working with Salesforce or another CRM preferred
  • Willingness to pass Series 63, 7, and 3 within one year

Compensation:
Salary: $65,000 – $80,000, Plus Bonus
