Company Overview:
A leading global private investment firm with approximately $185 billion in assets under management is seeking a Senior Associate for its Real Estate Finance team. The role involves accounting and reporting oversight for direct real estate investments across various asset sectors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate accounting and reporting for real estate investments on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Engage with joint venture partners to discuss financial operations and transactions
• Collaborate with the fund administrator on quarterly and annual financial statement reviews
• Perform weekly Fund cash availability analysis for loan drawdowns and repayments
• Forecast, coordinate, and review investor level capital calls and distribution notices
• Review and analyze internal valuations and external appraisals of real estate investments
• Interact with and support various teams on financial matters related to real estate investments and Funds
• Coordinate with auditors for Fund level audits
• Review property budget submissions and investigate budget to actual variances
• Maintain integrity of portfolio accounting systems and general ledger records
• Analyze and research industry and accounting guidance applicability
• Lead and engage in special projects to improve internal processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA designation strongly preferred
• Two to four years of relevant accounting experience within the real estate industry
• Experience with real estate investment accounting and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Yardi preferred

Compensation:
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000, Plus Bonus
