Company Overview:
A leading alternative investment manager with approximately $36 billion in assets under management is seeking a Senior Associate for their Private Debt Origination team. This role will be based in the Boston office and focuses on accounting and reporting for Private Debt funds.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements of various Private Debt funds
• Review fund administrator’s work on various Private Debt funds
• Handle all accounting, reporting, and compliance of certain Private Debt funds
• Administer funds by preparing, coordinating, and calculating capital calls and distributions
• Collaborate with Investor Relations to prepare fundraising offering materials and provide information for due diligence requests
• Work closely with outside auditors in preparation of year-end audited financials
• Collaborate with the tax group in preparing quarterly tax estimates and year-end tax allocations
• Monitor and reconcile cash with the bank
• Track and update the portfolio of investments for the various Private Debt funds
• Track interest payment receipts across the portfolio
• Account for daily activity in the general ledger and portfolio accounting system

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 5-8 years of experience primarily focused on partnerships and investment, with public accounting experience with private debt clients strongly preferred
• Strong GAAP financial reporting experience
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Investran experience is a plus
• CPA or advanced certification is a plus

Compensation:
Salary: $120,000 – $140,000, Plus Bonus
