Company Overview:
A leading real estate company known for luxury apartment rentals and condominiums across major cities is seeking a Benefits Billing Analyst/Associate. This role will focus on managing union benefit invoice processing and coordinating corporate benefit billing activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile monthly union invoices for health, welfare, pension, and supplemental benefit funds.
  • Validate eligibility data and payroll contributions to union benefit funds.
  • Investigate and resolve union invoice discrepancies, contribution variances, and retroactive adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate records of union contracts, contribution rates, and plan requirements.
  • Serve as point of contact for union fund administrators regarding billing, remittances, and compliance.
  • Review, validate, and process invoices for corporate benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, EAP, and other vendor services.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of benefit billing data against enrollment and payroll deductions.
  • Coordinate with benefit vendors to resolve billing errors, credits, or enrollment mismatches.
  • Track and process employee life event changes and retroactive adjustments impacting billing.
  • Ensure benefit payments and reporting adhere to union agreements, ERISA guidelines, and company policies.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and reconciliation reports.
  • Partner with payroll to ensure accurate benefit deductions and funding.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to support union contract administration.
  • Assist in benefit system updates and billing automation projects.
  • Support open enrollment and year-end reconciliation activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in benefits administration, payroll, accounting, or HR operations.
  • Experience in processing complex invoices or reconciling financial records.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas).
  • Experience working with union benefit plans or collective bargaining agreements preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRIS or benefit systems such as ADP, Workday, SAP, or UKG preferred.
  • Knowledge of benefit regulations (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA) preferred.

Compensation:
Salary: $90,000 – $100,000, Plus Bonus
