Company Overview:
A leading global private equity investment firm with $52 billion of equity capital under management is seeking a Tax Operations Associate. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop a specialized understanding of fund and investment business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support to Head of Tax and in-house Tax Group
  • Prepare EIN applications, tax elections, and other transaction-related tax forms
  • Assist with organization of legal entity documentation and maintenance of the legal entity management system
  • Prepare and submit tax payments for tax team
  • Review and manage investor tax data, liaising with external advisors and record keeping in CRM software
  • Coordinate with Investor Services on external investor tax inquiries
  • Support team with vendor tax form review and validation for Form 1099 filings
  • Prepare and maintain legal entity structure charts
  • Assist with internal and external communications, document review, and presentations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Open to learning other programs relevant to the business including working with electronic data rooms and tax research tools

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $40 – $55/hr, DOE
