Company Overview:
A forward-thinking, technology-driven tax advisory firm is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join its fully remote team. The firm provides high-level tax and consulting services to privately held businesses, investors, and high-net-worth individuals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical authority for the tax team, offering advanced guidance on complex tax matters and compliance issues.
• Review and analyze complex tax returns to ensure accuracy, compliance, and optimization of client tax positions.
• Stay well-informed on evolving tax regulations and provide authoritative technical interpretations and recommendations.
• Advise on intricate client scenarios, offering proactive solutions that balance compliance, efficiency, and strategic outcomes.
• Mentor and train team members, contributing to the development of internal processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Engage directly with high-profile or technically demanding clients, offering strategic insights and advisory support.
• Contribute to the design and development of tax models and planning strategies aligned with current laws and industry standards.
• Evaluate and provide recommendations regarding the firm’s tax technology stack, ensuring optimal performance and usability.

Qualifications:

• CPA, EA, or JD required.
• 10+ years of experience in public accounting or a tax advisory environment.
• Experience managing a team of tax professionals.
• In-depth knowledge of federal tax regulations.
• Strong technical research skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex tax guidance.
• Highly proficient with technology and experienced in optimizing tax workflows and systems.
• Capable of translating complex tax issues into clear advice for both clients and colleagues.

Compensation:
Salary: $130,000 – $170,000, Plus Bonus
