Company Overview:
A leading global private equity investment firm with $49 billion of equity capital under management is seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join their Performance Reporting Group. This role will be based in either Coral Gables or Boston and will focus on analyzing and summarizing the performance of investments, portfolios, and funds.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Calculate gross, net, and pro forma IRRs, TWRs, Multiples, and other performance and financial statistics and ratios.
  • Maintain, own, and prepare various attribution reports, investor reports, performance metrics reports, and track records.
  • Engage directly with senior leadership, capital formation, and deal teams to produce and deliver valuable insights.
  • Develop and enhance data extracts and report templates to accurately and efficiently aggregate data to analyze investments and funds.
  • Conduct various ad hoc and pro forma analytics at the investment, portfolio, and fund level.
  • Assist with special projects to standardize and enrich data across the platform to create meaningful reporting.
  • Actively monitor activity of investments and fund performance to ensure changes are accurately reflected in reports.
  • Model fund and strategy returns with pro forma and sensitivity analyses for Deal Teams and Senior Management.

Qualifications:

  • Analyst: 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance, business analytics, or investment operations, preferably within financial services.
  • Senior Analyst: 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, business analytics, or investment operations, preferably within financial services.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or STEM with a strong academic record; graduate degree or advanced certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
  • Experience with calculating performance and financial ratios for private equity, private credit, and/or real asset portfolios.
  • Experience with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills for developing and enhancing complex models.
  • Strong data/systems skills for working with large data sets and using tools to extract, aggregate, and manipulate data.
  • Experience with FIS VPM, Investran, and IVP Polaris or similar portfolio accounting systems is a plus.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $50 – $60/hr
