Company Overview:
A next-generation investment platform with over $13 billion in assets under management is seeking a Data Science Architect to join their team. The role involves implementing and integrating front and middle-office applications to support their credit, private equity, and insurance businesses.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design additional capabilities for data warehouses, including the use of Large Language Models and Machine Learning automation.
• Implement and integrate enterprise software solutions and leverage APIs for data management.
• Provide data analysis and ad-hoc reporting for front-office and middle-office users.
• Work with business users to gather technical requirements and execute using Python, SQL, and dashboarding tools.
• Serve as the principal technical business analyst and developer for core systems implementation.
• Execute multiple large-scale projects and ensure high standards of SLDC with automated testing.
• Provide L2 support for applications and ensure operational stability of data pipelines.
• Create automation of routine tasks using PowerShell, Flow, PowerBI, and other tools.
• Stay updated on technical best practices and assist with core technology projects.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of development experience in financial technology implementations and data integrations.
• Advanced MS T-SQL experience and experience integrating applications via RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Portfolio Management/Order Management systems and business intelligence technologies.
• Experience with Large Language Models and AI/ML technologies preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of data warehouse technologies like Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure Data.
• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in a relevant technical field.
• Strong knowledge of buy-side financial services technologies and alternative asset classes.
• Experience with market data platforms and knowledge of data warehouse platforms preferred.
• Strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks with a customer-service-driven outlook.
• Occasional travel to Miami and on-call availability may be required.

Compensation:
Salary: $150,000 – $200,000, Plus Bonus
