Company Overview:
A leading global private investment firm with approximately $215 billion in assets under management is seeking a Senior Associate for its Procurement team. This role focuses on managing several Information Technology categories of indirect spend, including software, hardware, telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, and professional services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as category lead for assigned IT categories and collaborate on additional indirect spend categories.
  • Lead contract review and negotiation processes, partnering with Legal counsel.
  • Identify and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Execute sourcing initiatives and partner on RFPs across assigned categories.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and key process owner for the firm’s ERP system.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable to support the end-to-end P.O. process.
  • Create informed, innovative category strategies and drive continuous improvement activities.
  • Conduct diligence on new suppliers and manage onboarding.
  • Contribute to the documentation of initiatives and supplier records.
  • Develop and improve the department’s strategic, operational, and tactical processes.

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of procurement experience, with time in sourcing and category management roles.
  • Experience in financial services, private equity, or similar industries preferred.
  • Strong client service orientation and ability to partner with senior stakeholders.
  • Fluency using AI tools for analysis, research, and contract review.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems; Workday experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of standard contracting terms and IT-specific contract terms.
  • Experience with enterprise procurement platforms preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and presentation skills in PowerPoint.
  • Strong business acumen and collaborative spirit.

Compensation:
Salary: $95,000 – $110,000, Plus Bonus
