From robust new-hire and ongoing training programs, to employee-led workshops and external speakers, providing our employees with a comprehensive learning experience and endless development opportunities is a top priority.

Employee Engagement

Recruiting is a team effort, so getting to know the team is key to a fun experience at the firm. We offer plenty of opportunities to socialize: impromptu games (Mario Kart competitions, anyone?), happy hours, and virtual events all help us stay connected and, most importantly, have fun with each other.

Quarterly Programming

Firmwide events are held quarterly, bringing together employees from all geographies to our NY office where we host a combination of educational events (speakers, firmwide Town Hall events, trainings) and social programming (dinners, company field days and offsites).

Performance Management

Through twice annual performance reviews, manager training, and a clear promotion framework for recruiters, we strive for a transparent performance management process so all employees can find their own path to eventual partnership at the firm.

Mentorship

Collaboration is a core aspect of our operating principles, and while informal mentorship is prevalent across the firm, formalized structures like the “Grasshopper Unit” for new and junior recruiters allows for cross-team mentorship and sharing of best practices.

We’re proud of our high retention rate and the fact that so many of our Managing Directors began their careers here at the Associate level. Fun fact: you get your own custom bobblehead when you hit your 5 year anniversary at the firm!
