Founder Services combines Landing Point’s deep expertise in executive talent placement and recruiting to help the founders of young companies attract, hire, and retain the best talent to help impact long-term success.

The new offering will be led by J. Patrick Gorman, a veteran recruiting executive based in Austin, Texas, who joins Landing Point after more than 20 years of advising startups globally in this capacity.

Prior to joining Landing Point, Gorman founded executive search firms in New York City and São Paulo, where he introduced leadership talent to high-growth companies like Nubank (now the world’s largest fintech), PayPal, and Uber. He is also the author of, “Recruit the Remarkable – A First Time Founder’s Guide to Hiring Exceptional People.” A Chicago native who is fluent in Portuguese, Gorman now resides in Austin, Texas after living and working in Brazil for more than a decade. Prior to recruiting, he worked for Arthur Andersen in Silicon Valley and Chicago. He passed the United States CPA exam, and graduated from the University of Notre Dame with honors where he was a member of the Track and Cross-Country teams.
