Company Overview:
A regional bank headquartered in New Jersey provides personal and business banking services, including management and digital banking solutions. They are seeking a Loan Closing Coordinator to facilitate loan-closing activities and maintain customer relations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review pre-closing documentation for commercial lending and real estate loans.
  • Organize files, review closing documents for accuracy, and ensure compliance with closing conditions.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, Relationship Managers, and other professionals to schedule timely closings.
  • Set up loan files and coordinate closing responsibilities with the Loan Administrator.
  • Prepare and process post-closing documents and reports for input into the bank’s systems.
  • Maintain loan closing reference procedures and assist with daily department responsibilities.
  • Prepare and process department reports, verify OFAC and Patriot Act information, and review mortgage discharges for accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Extensive knowledge of Commercial Loan closing.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; knowledge of Laser Pro document preparation is a plus.
