Company Overview:
A West Palm Beach-based private equity firm with $2 billion in assets under management, specializing in real estate private equity investments, is seeking a Fund Accounting Controller. The role involves managing accounting operations for assigned funds within their investment arm.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and provide input to all Fund-related regulatory filings and respond to regulatory requests.
• Manage accounting responsibilities for fund models and maintain internal profit and loss and AUM files.
• Lead projects such as new fund launches, regulatory adoption, and system implementations.
• Participate in monthly close activities, including financial data review and fluctuation analysis.
• Review and approve individual investor statements and Funds' financial statements.
• Prepare financial information for regulatory reporting, including Form PF and Form ADV.
• Assist with interim/year-end audit and tax processes for the firm's funds.
• Prepare monthly flash estimates and provide commentary and analysis.
• Work with Excel models and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
• 8+ years of fund accounting experience.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role with direct reports.
• Investment partnership and fund accounting experience required.
• CPA is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Advanced Excel skills required.

Compensation:
Salary: $180,000 – $250,000, Plus Bonus
