Company Overview:
A leading insurance services company with over $3.5 billion in managed premium and 2,000 associates globally is seeking a Junior FP&A Financial Analyst. The role will support the finance department with analysis and reporting to drive strategic initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the finance department with ongoing analysis for products, business lines, business units, and the overall company
• Monitor specific P&L and balance sheet line items, research and provide insights to variances
• Create financial models and analyses to provide finance leadership and executive teams with actionable insights
• Work with business partners on issues and assist with identifying resolutions
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial review on budget vs actual
• Assist in data compilation and preparation of exhibits and schedules for internal reporting
• Calculate and track key business metrics
• Provide financial analyses to support strategic initiatives
• Review supplier expense spend
• Help manage headcount & compensation planning, reporting, and tracking
• Ensure follow-up action when necessary and provide updates to the management
• Complete special projects, ad-hoc reporting, and any other job-related duties required to support the department objectives

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in finance-related positions including accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and financial budgeting
• Major in Finance or Accounting
• Advanced Excel skills preferred; experience with ERP/Financial Reporting systems/Workday/Adaptive is a bonus
• Previous insurance experience is a plus

Compensation:
Salary: $30-40/hour
