Company Overview:
A pioneering neurotechnology company is developing implantable brain-computer interfaces to revolutionize human interaction with digital devices. They are seeking a Corporate Accountant to join their Finance and Accounting Team, which manages core financial operations and technical accounting issues.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bookkeeping to ensure the accuracy of accounting records
• Execute month-end financial statement close procedures
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliation workbooks
• Identify and correct errors, providing feedback to team members
• Prepare quarterly financial statements for compliance
• Develop weekly cash flow forecasts and analyze budget variances
• Prepare and file tax information forms
• Research and document corporate accounting policies in line with U.S. GAAP
• Assist in designing and implementing internal control procedures
• Evaluate and assist with new accounting and procurement software
• Collaborate with teams to automate procedures and enhance processes
• Assist with equity administration and ad hoc projects

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in public accounting and industry
• Bachelor's degree or above in accounting, finance, or related field
• CPA designation or equivalent
• Experience with NetSuite, Quickbooks, Shareworks, Adaptive, or ZipHQ
• Intermediate Excel skills

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $40 – $65/hr, DOE
