Company Overview:
A regional bank headquartered in New Jersey provides personal and business banking services, including management and digital banking solutions. They are seeking an SEC Reporting Supervisor to manage financial reporting and compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation and compilation of internal financial reports and public reports, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
• Coach and guide financial reporting team members.
• Serve as a key business partner to cross-functional groups to ensure timely support and accurate reporting.
• Evaluate and document technical accounting analyses and maintain accounting policies.
• Research and evaluate complex accounting matters and support the implementation of new accounting standards.
• Oversee accounting for complex items, including equity, stock compensation, and derivatives.
• Prepare and compile financial data and supporting schedules for financial statement disclosures.
• Work with the Director of Financial Reporting and Chief Accounting Officer on quarterly Earnings Release.
• Contribute to monthly financial review meetings and discuss financial results.
• Represent the accounting department in special projects and support financial systems.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, training, and managing employees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; master’s degree a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance with specific knowledge of SEC reporting.
• Knowledge of Accounting, GAAP, and SEC Reporting.
• Proficient with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Workiva preferred.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $50 – $65/hr, DOE
