Company Overview:
A leading investment firm with approximately $55 billion in assets under management is seeking to add a new member to its Private Equity Accounting Team. This role will focus on accounting, administration, and reporting for various entities within the firm's private equity funds.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the review of quarterly fund reporting, including financial statements, equity roll forwards, capital statements, and reporting workbooks.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of capital call and distribution notices and capital statements via InvestorVision.
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of investor reporting, including ILPA templates, K-1s, tax notices, and ad hoc requests.
  • Manage cash activity and reconciliations across funds, coordinating with the Treasury Team on wires, account openings, and bank transitions.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with auditors, bankers, and third-party service providers; manage audit deliverables and portfolio company confirmations.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Investor Relations, Compliance, and other internal teams to support investor servicing and operational improvements.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
  • Lead or contribute to strategic initiatives, including system and process enhancements involving Investran, InvestorVision, and Excel automation.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of relevant experience, including public accounting (audit) and private equity fund accounting experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA is required.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP); familiarity with Investran and InvestorVision is preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading teams, processes, improving workflows, and working cross-functionally.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:
Salary: $150,000 – $225,000, Plus Bonus
