Company Overview:
A leading global private investment firm with approximately $185 billion in assets under management is seeking a Finance Associate to join their Life Sciences team. This role focuses on supporting investment activities in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostics, and life science technology companies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with third-party fund administrator on quarterly US GAAP Basis Reporting and annual US GAAP Basis audit.
• Work with internal tax department and external advisers on annual Tax Basis Book Preparation.
• Perform quarterly management fee and carried interest calculations.
• Conduct daily trading activities including trade entry, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Perform weekly Fund cash availability analysis for capital calls, cash distributions, loan drawdowns, and repayments.
• Document investment transactions and assist in deal closings and harvest transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly portfolio company valuations and prepare data for the Valuation Committee.
• Respond to requests and inquiries from limited partners and their representatives.
• Work with Investor Relations on presentation materials and fundraising documents.
• Analyze fund activities to ensure compliance with partnership agreements.
• Collaborate with the Finance team and CFO on projects to enhance team and firm productivity.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Bachelors degree in finance, business, or accounting from a four-year college/university.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels.

Compensation:
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000, Plus Bonus
