Company Overview:
A leading global alternative investment manager with a focus on private equity, credit, and real estate is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The role involves supporting a growing platform across structured credit, asset-backed financing, and direct origination strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

• The month-end close process, including review of NAV packages prepared by fund administrators and trustees
• Analyze profit/loss and fund performance on a monthly basis
• Calculation of management fees & incentive fees on hedge and PE style structures
• Coordinate year-end audits and provide information for tax preparation annually
• Reporting quarterly and annually accounting information to corporate accounting for 10Q/10K
• Responsible for portfolio valuation review and P&L attribution reporting for the funds
• Manage investor inquiries, reporting, and ad-hoc requests
• Maintain detailed summary tracking expenditures across funds
• Identify and analyze daily cash activity for various fund entities
• Manage trustee/administrator relationships
• Coordinate with internal counterparts in Corporate, Operations, Marketing, Tax, Legal, and front office functions
• Complete internal fund reporting including liquidity and investment metrics
• Contribute to internal business reviews & reporting for senior leaders
• Execute on ad-hoc requests from senior leaders

Qualifications:

• 4-8 years of public or private accounting experience
• Strong U.S. GAAP technical accounting expertise
• Experience with asset-backed finance credit instruments
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Investran, Altyrex, Anaplan, or Power BI is a plus

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $60 – $120/hr
