Company Overview:
A multidisciplinary advisory firm with over 30 years of experience, specializing in financial advice and family office services for multigenerational families, is seeking an Operations Specialist. The role involves working within the Operations Team to manage bank reconciliation, invoice processing, general ledger management, and various firm projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process routine activities/transactions according to department and compliance guidelines
  • Verify documents for completeness and complete entries within client/firm accounts & general ledger
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to the treasury team, internal teams, vendors, and banks
  • Use knowledge to respond to operational & technical questions and ensure compliance with policies
  • Review and initiate instructions to banking institutions, including LOC management and funds transfers
  • Update and maintain vendor records
  • Review/monitor cash transactions and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with cash forecasting and management
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliation on various accounts
  • Review statement transactions for accuracy as part of fraud prevention
  • Participate in additional special projects, duties, and tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting with general ledger, database, and/or cash management experience
  • Software skills: Excel (intermediate including VLOOKUP and advanced formulas), Microsoft Dynamics SL, Sage-Intact, and basic entry and GL processing

Compensation:
Salary: $85,000 – $100,000, DOE
