Company Overview:
A leading global private investment firm with approximately $185 billion in assets under management is seeking a Finance Manager to join its Life Sciences team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate on all aspects of finance and operational functions within the Life Sciences funds.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review quarterly NAVs and capital reporting to investors
• Review quarterly financial statements, management fee and carry calculations, and other deliverables for investor reporting
• Manage year-end audit process with outside accountants and facilitate related requests
• Manage third-party fund administrator on all aspects of reporting/operations
• Perform daily trading activities including trade entry, settlement, and reconciliation
• Oversight of cash availability and fund flows
• Assist in managing public portfolio management systems
• Help manage a team of 1-2 junior team members
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly portfolio company valuations and prepare summarized data for the Valuation Committee
• Respond to requests and inquiries of limited partners and their representatives
• Work with Investor Relations in preparation of presentation materials and fundraising documents
• Analyze fund activities to ensure compliance with partnership agreements
• Collaborate on projects to enhance the product of the team, department, and firm
• Other ad hoc responsibilities

Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of experience at an Investment Advisor and/or public accounting role preferred
• Four-year college degree with a major in accounting, finance, or related degree required
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualification a plus

Compensation:
Salary: $125,000 – $150,000, Plus Bonus
