Company Overview:
A leading global investment firm with over $500 billion in assets under management is seeking a Founding Engineering Leader for their AI Security team. This role will focus on establishing and growing the team to define the next generation of security for AI systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define and execute AI security strategy, including setting technical direction and priorities for defending AI models, pipelines, and data.
• Lead threat modeling, red teaming, and vulnerability assessments tailored to AI/ML systems.
• Translate research and field learnings into scalable detection and prevention capabilities.
• Build and scale productized security solutions by identifying opportunities to automate and embed security into the AI lifecycle.
• Collaborate with AI science, platform engineering, and infrastructure teams to design, deploy, and maintain protective features.
• Drive engineering excellence and operational maturity as the team scales.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, clients, and the broader security community to shape security architecture, tooling, and policy stance.
• Advocate for secure-by-design principles across the organization and ecosystem.

Qualifications:

• Experienced engineering leader with a strong background in security, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Experience with ML systems or security products is a bonus.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Compensation:
Salary: $150,000 – $250,000, Plus Bonus
