Company Overview:
A leading financial advisory firm with a legacy as one of the oldest independent investment banks, advising on transactions across various industries. They are seeking a Data Business Analyst to bridge business needs with technical solutions in data-driven projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for data solutions.
• Create clear and comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and data mapping.
• Develop wireframes and mockups for Power Apps and Power BI dashboards.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and maintain the sprint board for transparency.
• Develop test cases and perform testing alongside developers.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Validate REST and Microsoft Graph APIs using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Write SQL queries for data validation, profiling, and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, data analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data-centric projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience writing user stories.
• Experience creating wireframes and mockups for apps and dashboards.
• Familiarity with Power Platform and Power BI is a plus.
• Knowledge of data concepts and the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
• Experience with functional testing and data validation techniques.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $55 – $70/hr
