Company Overview:
A global asset manager with $188.9 billion in assets under management is seeking an Investment Operations Associate to join their Middle Office group in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role supports Fixed Income, Equity, and Multi-Asset Teams, contributing to seamless investment operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for trade execution and settlement processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal teams, clients, and brokers, addressing and resolving operational issues.
  • Oversee data integrity across financial transactions and reporting through reconciliation and data management.
  • Lead and manage the relationship with the outsourced Middle Office provider, overseeing trade settlements and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support onboarding and operational workflows for derivatives products.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance operational procedures to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for operational queries, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Generate and distribute daily cash projection reports to the Investment Team.
  • Lead and contribute to ad hoc projects aimed at enhancing operational capabilities.
  • Prepare and deliver client reports, including NAV reconciliations and trade blotters.

Qualifications:

  • Must reside in Florida, ideally near the Ft. Lauderdale area.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in middle office operations or custody middle office functions.
  • Familiarity with MYSS (My State Street), custody portals, and Bloomberg is advantageous.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $30 – $40/hr
