Company Overview:
A leading nonprofit organization in Nassau County has been providing services and support to over 2,200 individuals with special needs for nearly 70 years. They are seeking a Timekeeping/UKG Lead to enhance their payroll and timekeeping systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Enrollment and troubleshoot employee time clock connectivity in the Time & Attendance application.
• Process and verify the accuracy of employee changes to ensure timely updates to enrollment, new hires, status changes, and profiles.
• Compile, audit, verify, and distribute daily computerized reports for review and accuracy.
• Ensure audits and internal follow-ups of payroll-related data are accurate prior to payroll processing.
• Reconcile pay batch and CSV file totals for accuracy.
• Maintain communication with the Payroll Manager regarding payroll-related issues or concerns.
• Assist with processing documentation for leave of absence, PFL, and suspended employees.
• Process and review biweekly electronic records, allocation of overtime, and payroll transaction records.
• Provide assistance to employees’ pay inquiries and review requests for paper checks.
• Assist, audit, and update accrual adjustments and direct deposits in the payroll system.
• Generate Time & Attendance and Business Intelligence reports as requested.
• Support the annual audit process by satisfying auditors' requests for data.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with UKG UltiPro and electronic timekeeping systems.
• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is considered a plus.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $30 – $35/hr
