Company Overview:
A major public pension fund in New York City, managing over $100 billion in assets, is seeking a candidate to support their pension verification process within the Service Request Center.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform pension verification for specified retiree populations, including generation of outgoing correspondence and evaluation of incoming proof-of-life documentation.
  • Assist with production support issues and perform User Acceptance Testing.
  • Ensure all Service Requests are validated and completed as per defined SLAs and OLAs.
  • Review high volumes of incoming member/beneficiary documents for accuracy and reach out if documents are not accurate or missing.
  • Support quality assurance for business fulfillment readiness by handling data entry of forms, conducting calls, and ensuring supporting documents are complete and verified.

Qualifications:

  • An associate degree or completion of 60 semester credits from an accredited college or university, including or supplemented by 9 semester credits in mathematics, statistics, accounting, and/or actuarial science, and two years of satisfactory full-time experience in relevant fields.
  • A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and four years of relevant experience, with the possibility of substituting college credits for experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $20 – $22/hr, DOE
