Company Overview:
A leading global investment firm with approximately $504 billion in assets under management is seeking an Accountant to join its Real Estate Credit division in Boston. The role focuses on supporting the firm's Real Estate private credit funds, particularly the publicly traded mortgage REIT.

Job Responsibilities:

• Play an active role in completing quarter close processes, including financial statements and disclosure preparation
• Perform various reconciliations, including investment positions, collection, and bank account activity
• Assist with the preparation of journal entries, money movements, and invoices for payment
• Perform reviews of lender financing information
• Support liquidity management and assist with ad-hoc requests
• Collaborate across origination, asset management, tech, legal, investor relations, and global finance teams
• Assist in driving accounting, reporting, and business process simplification and efficiency initiatives

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of relevant work experience in financial services, REIT, or real estate accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA and/or advanced degree preferred
• Advanced user of Excel and highly proficient with MS Word and MS PowerPoint
• Prior experience with Geneva/Workiva is preferred

Compensation:
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000, Plus Bonus
