Company Overview:
A New York-based investment advisor with approximately $6 billion in assets under management is expanding its operations with the launch of a new insurance business. The firm is seeking a professional with 1-2 years of audit experience to join this high-growth potential venture as a key member of the team.

Job Responsibilities:

• GAAP and STAT reporting for domestic and offshore SAPs, other managed accounts, and soon-to-be-acquired domestic carrier
• Coordination with auditors and investment accounting providers for books and records responsibilities for Holdings entities
• Coordination with fund accountants for third-party capital reinsurance fund
• Corporate responsibilities for expenses, payroll, benefits, insurance, and new entity filings
• Coordinate with sales teams and third-party insurance issuer
• Reports to Chief Actuary/CFO of the insurance company and works closely with the COO

Qualifications:

• Experience in financial reporting and coordination with auditors
• Familiarity with GAAP and STAT reporting
• Ability to manage corporate responsibilities including expenses, payroll, and benefits
• Experience in coordinating with sales teams and third-party issuers

Compensation:
Salary: $100,000 – $110,000
