Company Overview:
An investment management firm with approximately $17 billion in assets under management is seeking a Finance Project Manager to join their IT Project Management Office. This role will focus on leading finance-focused projects, including implementing and optimizing asset management and finance-related software and systems. This role offers the opportunity to work with a range of applications, including Concur, Amex Travel and Oracle, and future ERP upgrade project.

Job Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior leadership to identify system needs, define project goals, and build a roadmap that supports finance transformation efforts.
• Manage all aspects of project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, resource allocation, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans.
• Ensure timely completion of projects by adapting to changing priorities and mobilizing resources as needed.
• Work closely with finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure project objectives align with business goals.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders, providing updates, resolving conflicts, and adapting project plans as needed.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented finance solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, information technology, or engineering preferred.
• At least 5 years’ experience with ERP systems, ideally managing migrations and/or integrations with other systems.
• Understanding of corporate expense management systems, including processes, data flows, and interactions with related vendor and in-house software.
• Experience with Oracle systems is desirable.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
• PMP certification is a plus.
