Company Overview:
A leading global investment firm with nearly $300 billion in assets under management is seeking a PE/BXLS Associate to join their team. The role involves managing fund accounting processes and supporting financial reporting activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries into the general ledger accounting system
  • Manage the cash balance of each fund to determine the need for capital calls and distributions
  • Review and prepare quarterly and annual financial statement packages, including investor reporting
  • Coordinate capital calls and distributions
  • Review waterfall calculations and management fee calculations
  • Review work product from outsourced providers
  • Liaise with other areas of the firm, including tax, legal, and treasury
  • Review and understand partnership agreements
  • Work closely with senior team members on accounting issues
  • Assist with special projects and internal ad hoc requests

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of related experience in fund accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • CPA preferred, but not required
  • Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $50 – $65/hr, DOE
