Company Overview:
A global alternative investment management firm with a multi-strategy approach is seeking a Senior Associate to join their Business Unit Control Group. The role involves supporting the post-trade lifecycle across various financial products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operational processing and full trade life cycle management for financial reporting
• Review daily, monthly complex reconciliations independently and act as an escalation point
• Experience with P & L controls & reconciliations; General ledger and accounting data
• Build and improve processes/workflows
• Partner with finance for Month-End Close and Audit
• Liaise across the organization (Business and IT) for information and problem-solving
• Work with large data sets
• Transform trade and security data into specifications for technology development

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience, preferably in accounting, finance, or operations
• Experience with portfolio accounting systems, SS & C Geneva preferred
• Knowledge of fund accounting concepts/processes
• Good understanding of the Capital Market, Hedge Fund, and Financial Instruments
• Solid understanding of a wide range of financial products: Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX Markets, Loans, and Private Credit
• Excellent Excel skills needed, SQL abilities a plus
• Working knowledge of Gresham recon tool is desirable

Compensation:
Salary: $70,000 – $160,000
